Sissy Bag – Bow Tie Hat

This unique hat is handmade in Madagascar by women artisans and is part of the Fair Trade ‘Sissy Bag’ range of accessories. It is made from eco-friendly and sustainable raffia and features a multi-coloured wrap-around band finished at the back with a delightful bow tie and an 8cm brim.  It is an adult free size design and would suit head size 54-56cm.  It measures approximately 18cm high and 28cm in diameter across the brim.

Sissy Bags is dedicated to aiding an orphanage called La Maison d'Arnaud in Diego, Madagascar. They strive to aid the 30 resident children, who have either been abandoned by their families or cannot reside at home, with essential resources and education.

Please note - if your hat gets a little squished out of shape in shipping (or at any time), you can simply place a reasonably thick hand towel over the area of the hat and press with a warm iron - creases come straight out!
