Sissy Bag - Cindy Assorted Colours

These quaint little bags are hand-crafted in Madagascar by women artisans. The Cindy bag is made from renewable and sustainable raffia and measures 15cm x 11.5cm x 4cm (closed) with the strap being approximately 50cm long.  These bags are part of the Sissy Bag range of bags, hats and accessories.

Madagascar, situated off the Southeast Coast of Africa, is an island nation that is undergoing developmental progress. It grapples with various obstacles, notably poverty.

Sissy Bags is dedicated to aiding an orphanage called La Maison d'Arnaud in Diego, Madagascar. They strive to aid the 30 resident children, who have either been abandoned by their families or cannot reside at home, with essential resources and education.

The materials used in Sissy Bags products are derived from Raffia, a sustainable resource obtained from palm trees cultivated in Madagascar. This allows them to support the local community while ensuring environmental responsibility.
