Chinese Bagua Mirror

This little Feng Shui Bagua mirror is hand-crafted and measures approximately 27cm long and 7cm wide.  It features a metal octagonal centrepiece with a mirror on the front encompassed by auspicious symbols, and an ornate pattern on the back incorporating the Yin-Yang symbol representing harmony and balance.  It has the traditional lucky knot at the top and red tassel at the bottom.

The Feng Shui Bagua Mirror is an ancient Chinese tool to bring harmony and balance into the home. The Chinese believed this tool could help deflect negative energy away from the home and attract positive energy in.  By hanging this mirror strategically, one can create a harmonious environment within their home.

A Bagua mirror should always be placed outside of your home facing the direction of the energy you are wanting to deflect. Above the door is always a popular choice to place the mirror. It is said that facing the mirror towards your home's interior can bring back luck as is facing it directly at your neighbour (this will reflect the negative energy toward them). It is believed flat mirror are most effective at protecting your home and bringing harmony to your environment.

A Bagua mirror is generally round or octagonal shaped and incorporates good luck symbols, such as dragons or phoenixes.
