Sterling Silver Filigree Heart Necklace

This limited-edition vintage-inspired necklace is crafted from 925-sterling silver and incorporates a gleaming 60cm snake chain strung with an ornate intricate openwork, filigree puffy heart pendant which measures approximately 30mm x 30mm x 10mm.

Sterling silver is a metal composed by weight of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.  Fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver, is relatively soft, so silver is usually alloyed with copper to increase its hardness and strength. Sterling silver is widely used in jewellery making for its affordability (compared to gold), its hardness and durability.
