Sterling Silver Hamsa Hands Earrings

The Hamsa Hand is a popular symbol in North Africa and the middle Eash and is quite often used in jewellery making. It is said to represent feminine power, strength, and protection. It is believed to protect against the evil eye. The Hamsa hand is often represented as an open palm with an eye in the centre.

Sterling silver is a metal composed by weight of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.  Fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver, is relatively soft, so silver is usually alloyed with copper to increase its hardness and strength.
