Sterling Silver Peridot Stud Earrings

These gorgeous earrings are crafted from 925 sterling silver and feature a beautiful, faceted peridot specimen in the centre of the setting.  These are a one-off piece and were hand-crafted on the Atherton Tablelands by a very talented silversmith.  They have a drop of approximately 27mm and a width of 12mm and come gift boxed.

Peridot is a heart chakra stone and is said to deepen one’s spiritual connections, promote compassion, peace and love.  It is a beautiful stone for instilling a sense of harmony and safety.

Sterling silver is a metal composed by weight of 92.5% silver and 7.5% other metals, usually copper.  Fine silver, which is 99.9% pure silver, is relatively soft, so silver is usually alloyed with copper to increase its hardness and strength. Sterling silver is widely used in jewellery making for its affordability (compared to gold), its hardness and durability.
